Stent crimping technology for nitinol stents and conventional stents
MPT Europe has developed crimping systems for both Nitinol and
conventional stent materials. The crimping systems use the zero-gap
crimping head technology specially developed by MPT
Europe. They have accurate diameter and force control. The head
diameter is made to maximum opening specification and allows for full
closure. The heads are servo controlled (+/- 0.01 mm) and can be made
to 300 mm length.

MPT Europe BV has extended their tool room by 400% and has invested in a new HAAS milling machine.
This machine will enable MPT Europe BV to achieve even better lead times in both the machine building as in their custom process and machine development projects.
The machine will be used for milling the aluminum and engineering plastic components used in the machines build.
In the development process MPT Europe BV uses Solid Works 3D CAD for the design and the FEM (Finite Element Method) simulations.
With the use of the OneCNC CAM software the new HAAS milling machine can seamlessly use the computer models to mill the physical components saving a time consuming translation step. This in the end will enable us to serve the customers even better and faster, as MPT Europe BV believes that is one of the most important aspects of doing worldwide business today
